Many strategic initiatives by Rotarians are transforming lives. A Rotary Club in Durango, Colorado sponsored a program that provides solar lights to homes in the Navajavo reservation, allowing residents to continue to work locally.

area known as The Checkerboard, in northwestern New Mexico, it can be particularly challenging to gain access to utilities."
