President Barry opened the meeting. Toast to Queen, Canada and Rotary: President Barry Attendees: Members 18 Guests: Dorothy Evans, PP Markham Sunrise Rotary Club Emanuel Adewumi, West Africa Rotary joining the club Jim Rhijnsburger. Past member NSRC Announcements: President Barry. There is a joint director's meeting on Monday June 28 @ 8:00pm. Christ Church Deacon's Cupboard sent a letter which Barry read out to everyone, thanking the club and Park Property Management for the generous donation to the Deacon's cupboard which is open each Thursday morning to distribute food to those who come to the church seeking help with staples. Arthur asked who was responsible for the July pod. It is his group' Alan talked about the poor response so far for items for the Online Auction. Because of COVID sports tickets which have been a large part of the auction are no longer available. Alan usually brings in hockey tickets but they will not be available this year. This leaves a substantial hole to fill so we need to start working on items now and not wait until the weeks before the auction. A suggestion was made that maybe some of the organisations we have helped may have contacts for items and the revenue could be split. No S@A today. Instead Barry made his farewell comments as the outgoing President and the members made their comments, which were supposed to be a roast but instead heart felt thanks came from all members. This part of the zoom meeting can be seen at the link below. This scribe could not do justice to the comments made..or to Arthur's joke. Barry closed the meeting and wished everyone a good week. Editor's note: For those who do not follow the club in Twitter. There was also a thank you to the club and Park Property Management for their generosity from Agincourt Community Services.
