Jacob Lakirovich requested that all members attend next week to hear the District Governor speak. All Board members are requested to arrive no later than 11:30 for a meeting with the Governor.

Jacob Lakirovich also advised of a District Membership meeting at the Sept 12 Presidents meeting and requested that someone from the Membership Committee attend. (Basil cannot so it is up to Dave Hardy or Danny Cassidy)

Marbelous Draw:
Marbelous draw conducted by Al Meredith was drawn by Peter Masson and won by (?) Al Meredith. Despite trying the mutant marble was not found-hardly worth it yet.

Sergeant at Arms.
Fines: Gordon fined all members a loonie if they could not tell him when the first official Paralympics was held – Rome 1960 (even though David Seemungal got off with a 1/2 loonie because of knowing that the original games arose when handicapped veterans of WW 2 started a competition in England in 1949.

Happy bucks were provided by:
Joan Manuel who has listed Dhanni Ramdeen’s brother's house and just presented them with 5 offers for it.
Charles Whitney and Saty Seemungal who were happy to be there
Frank Allison who was happy to have won the Marble Draw last week.

Program:
Today’s program was the official opening of the TV Auction. Jacob Lakirovich introduced this year’s Chair for our Club, Charles Whitney who proceeded to hand out packages, and hardcopies of the many forms and paperwork we have to assist all members in collecting items for the Auction. He also handed out the team lists and has challenged us to do better this year with items and sponsorships. Charles was also thanked by Jacob for his presentation.

A sound file of the presentation, questions and comments will follow separately.
