50/50 Draw
Jacob and Mike decided to share the risk and the reward for to-day's draw.  Well they now are discussing how to share the consolation prize of $5:00

Seargeant at Arms:
Jacob was back at work fleecing the members present with his usual quiz.  But he then went on to ask for happy bucks.

Peter Masson reported that he had survived the first sail from Port Credit to Bluffers Park HYC on Monday when the winds were moderate and yes, the water was cold.  This is the new (old) C&C 34 Elisium V which his son Steve now is learning the ropes as its new skipper.

Somehow we then switched to telling stories about cows. First Jacob then Arthur.  I wasn't quick enough to catch the punch line so you will have to hear the bull and cow story straight from Arthur.

Program

No program was planned for to-day in light of the Scarborough Renewal Campaign kick-off that evening.  So read the notes to see what this initiative by the six Rotary clubs in Scarborough are doing.
