Announcements:

President Rocco - that our 1st Club Board Meeting for 2013/14 will be held at his home Monday July 29, at 7:30 pm.  Notice will follow to all involved.

Kevin Manuel – next week’s speaker will outline upcoming Rotary Auction.

Joan Manuel – presented pictures of Club Members present at recent Scholarship evening that were in SNAP Magazine.

Marbelous draw: Charles handed over $5.00 to Madhavi who wasn’t able to catch the elusive marble.

Fines were levied if a member still hadn’t brought in an auction donation;

Any member who had not visited the RI website recently;

also, if the membership didn’t know what big announcement will come from RI in August. (A new website)

 Madhavi donated her winnings as she was happy to have completed her course.

 Gerd took his relative to a Blue Jays loosing game.

Gordon Brown introduced our speaker Mary Heinmaa who spoke on Habitat for Humanity.

Frank Allison thanked our speaker for her insightful presentation and she was given a certificate from Operation Eye Sight as a “Thank You”.
