Marbelous Draw:
Al Meredith rattled the many marbles in the bag and Kevin Manuel was the winner of the $5.00 consolation prize.
Seargeant at Arms:
Kevin Manuel then put the club through their paces with these key questions for us all:
1. Who had accepted Maddy’s invitation to visit the Club’s Facebook page during the last week?
2. When is the club’s TV Auciton ....(Nov 21 to 23) Mark your calendars!
3. What is the last day for submitting donations for the Auction ....(October 31st) Mark you calendars again!
Happy bucks were called for and Gordon was pleased to donate for the recent arrival of a new baby grandaughter “Charlotte” (9 lbs. 14 oz.) to his stepdaughter.
Program:
David Seemungal was happy to introduce Justin Ladrillo (jladrillo@gmail.com) both a photographer and a musician who he met at his daughter Dana’s school.
Justin discusses and then illustrates with two selections his “classical” guitar skills which he always wanted to master but it would have been too demanding. Then he went on to introduce some musical theory to those attending the meeting and following that he proceeded to talk about and illustrate the music of “The Blues”.
Listen to his whole presentation (24 minutes) and the music that he brought to us on the following link:

Frank Alison, one of our club’s music aficionados, thanked Justin and presented him with an Operation Eyesight certificate that restored vision to a person in India who had previously been blind from cataracts.
Next Meeting: July 30th
