Meet Jay Woo, recent recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award from our club. Jay is not only deserving of Rotary's greatest honour, he has earned it.
Jay was a board member and is a volunteer pilot of Hope Air, a national charity that arranges free non-emergency medical flights for low-income Canadians who must travel far from home to access healthcare.
Together with his organization, the man with a proven heart of service raised $1.25m for Hope Air, whose pilots also flew #PPE to remote parts of the country during COVID19. Jay once was short-listed as a NASA candidate.
Congratulations Jay on this recognition, given to rotarians and community members who make an outstanding contribution to their communities.
