Announcements-

-Dave Hardy announced that we should have all the Scarborough Rotary Clubs on board, regarding the strategy, by mid-April

Marbelous Draw- Charles Whitney did the honours and Gerd Wengler and Mike Mushet, held the lucky ticket. Unfortunately, the mutant marble eluded their grasp and lives for another day.

Sergeant at Arms-Basil gave us a reprieve and moved directly to Happy Bucks.

Happy Bucks- Gerd Wengler and Mike Mushet let us know that they were very unhappy about not finding the lucky marble, but donated their $5.00 anyway.

-President Rocco was very happy with his vacation in Jamaica.

- Carolyn Nicholson was happy that she had reached the half-way point in her renovation, and noted that Basil was taking good care of the situation.

The details of Ian Brown’s presentation can be found on the link below. Ian works out of the Toronto East Office in Scarborough and he brought it to our attention that Toronto is now larger that Chicago in both population and economic activity.

Due to the detailed nature of his talk please listen to the presentation, so you don’t miss any of the information presented. His talk was very informative and he has pledged his assistance as we move forward in our efforts to bring Scarborough into the spotlight.

Nm Saifoo Lau thanked Ian Brown for his presentation. A certificate to restore the sight of a person in India was presented for his presentation.
