Announcements:

Kevin Manuel announced that the TV Auction 2014 will be Nov 21/22

Gordon Brown reminded us about the euchre nite and asked that we register as soon as possible

Gerd Wengler advised that we have 1 TV Auction sponsorship already

Basil Dias advised that the Ribfest meetings are underway but it is too early to really comment

Marbelous draw conducted by Mike Mushet was drawn by Leslie Hetherington and won by Gordon Brown.

 

The mutant marble was found (WE HAVE A WINNER!!!) on his second try and Gordon Brown took home $436. Starting over again...

Sergeant at Arms. Charles Whitney

 

 

Fines:  Charles Whitney fined all for the good job our Olympians are doing in Sochi. Anyone not in attendance for the next 2 weeks was also fined-a few members paid. Anyone going away without their wife was fined-Frank Allison paid heavily for these two items which seemed to be highly directed. Hmm...

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy bucks were provided by:  Madhavi for her daughter’s 11th birthday-and her dog’s 3rd.

Arthur got pneumonia by being Canadian, but is now back to health.

Frank Allison's granddaughter was accepted at Carleton and for his successful heart test-after all the fines levied today, he still has one.

Jim Boyko recommended single malt scotch for Arthur instead of antibiotics.

Basil Dias contributed for his upcoming trip with Dorothy

 

 

 

Program: Today’s program was introduced by Dave Hardy who introduced Leslie Hetherington who provided a presentation on social networking, specifically Twitter.

 

 

Leslie was thanked by new Peep, Kevin Manuel(@KMstargazer), for her presentation and a certificate for Operation Eyesight was presented to her in appreciation.
