Presentation:
Mike Mushet introduced our guest speakers, Shirley Samis and Monica Emo, who encouraged us to get excited about the up-coming TV Auction

Monica and Shirley told us:

·    The place we buy our car, get it maintained, buy gas, groceries are all places to approach for Auction gifts.
·    The place we shop for our favourite toys, where we dine, all of our favourite businesses, are potential donors.
·    We can offer sponsors the opportunity to link their business website with our club and auction websites.
·    We need 900 items, and therefore the key to success is donations, donations, donations.
·    The warehouse is again at 1210 York Mills Road, and is open from 9:00 until 4:30.
(Peter and/or Rocco must first enter all details into the Auction inventory control computer)
·    The TV auction deadline date for items to be entered into the system is October 31st.
·    Volunteers are needed to help organize the items in the warehouse, to take items to the Civic Centre on the Friday, and to man the phones on Friday and Saturday of the Auction
