Announcements:
Rocco announced that there is a board meeting next Monday Nov 25th 7:30 at Dave Hardy's.
Carolyn Nicholson – Please sign up for the Christmas party which is held on Fri, Dec 13th at the Scarborough Golf club. Price is the same as last year - $55 pp.
David Seemungal – Was presented with a District grant cheque for $4800. for the Uganda maternal health camp project at the President and Foundation meeting.
Alan Meredith – Reminded members to sign up for the Christmas card. The donation will now be directed to purchase desks for a school in Laos since they already have an overwhelming response of donations to purchase 500 water filtration units.
Marbelous Draw: Alan was awarded the consolation prize of $5.

Alan was very excited in fining anyone who did not have their flu shots. He was on a roll, he then fined all who did not get their Shingle’s shots.
Happy bucks:
- Carolyn was excited in relaying about her three grandsons raking leaves.
- Dhanni celebrated a special birthday last week in New York city.
- David’s mom – Chan Seemungal was awarded Honorary Rotarian status in his dad’s club Rotary club in Trinidad.
President Rocco introduced our TV auction chairman, Jacob Lakirovich who thanked everyone for their help and contributions to the cause. He then asked Kevin Manuel to give us an update.
· Kevin indicated that everything is ready to go with some last minutes challenges. There are 19 hours of air time with 6 hours set-up and 8 hours clean-up time.
· 870 items value $162K, compared to last year when there were 912 items with a value of $139K. Overall, there is a 17% increase year to year in the 5 participating clubs. However, our club is virtually the same as last year in items.
· The Auction is streamed Live on Rogers website. No bidding online.www.rogerstv.com/rotarytvauction
· If you are on Anchor desk duty, you need to be at the studio one hour prior to air time.
· All other duties, 30 mins. before your shift starts.
· The job/task descriptions are the same as previous year .
· There is cafeteria food service, any dietary restrictions may be accommodated with advance notification to Kevin.
· Check in with the security desk upon arrival
· The parking is free but can be a challenge since the East York hospital, across the street, is under construction. There is also paid parking prior to 6:00 pm.
