PROGRAM:
President Madhavi, introduced our guest speaker whom she has known for a long time, Ms Oyi Chi,
The topic was "UNICEFF’s First Millennium  Development Goals"

Oyi got every one's attention as soon she asked "what does poverty mean to you?" There were many thinking that lack of food and basic necessities are the main signs of poverty, Although Oyi agreed with that, she went on explaining that there is a lot more then just food needed not to be classified as poor. .... like: Love, Education, Social Justice and much more... There was much discussion and many comments from all present.

Jim Boyko thanked the speaker for her interesting talk and in appreciation, the eyesight of an individual in Ghana has been restored in her name.  Oyi was presented  with an Operation Eyesight Certificate.
Please listen to the audio file to hear the complete  presentation by Oyi following Maddy’s introduction.
