"The Global Slavery Index estimates that, worldwide, 40.3 million people are subject to some form of slavery: bonded labor, forced labor, child slavery, sex trafficking, or forced marriage." Many People often ask, what they can do.  By partnering with Freedom United, a non-profit that brings together fragmented groups under one platform, Rotary Clubs in the USA are able to leverage resources to fight modern slavery both locally and globally.

Rotary clubs in Canada invest in the PACT program, an urban peace initiative that aims to break the cycle of youth crime. Participation, Acknowledgement, Commitment and Transformation (PACT), founded over twenty years ago by Rotarians Dave Lockett and Dan Cornacchia focuses on teaching youth at risk essential life skills.
